Tsavliris sets higher standards with ISO certifications - 2023 Jun 02

Following the highest international standards, Tsavliris Salvage obtained proudly the certification: ISO 22301 by AXIA CERT LTD for Business Continuity Management. The new certification now serves to further strengthen Tsavliris management systems and demonstrates the commitment for increased resilience, uninterrupted operations and increased capability to handle disruption.

During an event held at the Piraeus headquarters of Tsavliris, Captain Dimitris Tripolitsiotis, who serves as the operational manager for the group, was bestowed with the ISO 22301:2019 certification. Following the presentation, Capt. Tripolitsiotis commented: "We feel privileged to have been awarded with a highly esteemed collection of certificates that align with our company's mission and empower us to strive for exceptional performance across all domains. We take great pride in being among the pioneering organisations globally to receive the ISO 22301 certification".

Additionally, Tsavliris renewed successfully the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 by Bureau Veritas, with a record of zero incidents at sea and marine pollution:

- ISO 9001 for Quality Management (specifies the requirements for a quality management system and demonstrates the ability to consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements).

- ISO 14001 for Environmental Management (specifies the requirements for an environmental management system that an organisation can use to enhance its environmental performance).

- ISO 45001 for Health & Safety Management System (aims for the reduction of occupational injuries and diseases, including promoting and protecting physical and mental health).
